This past Saturday, the Lions bowling teams competed in the Southwest Baker Shootout in Urbana, Ohio. The competition had teams bowl ten baker games, then the top eight would bowl in head to head match play. The boys team performed well on Saturday, shooting 1662 in the qualifying round. Unfortunately, they finished in 9th place and missed the cut to match play by two pins. The girls team also performed well on Saturday, shooting 1180 and finished the qualifying round in 7th place. They qualified for match play but were defeated by Graham.
